Audi Junior Tour 2018 cycle to begin in Armada GC on Saturday
Next Saturday, 21 April, the most important cycle of junior tournaments – Audi Junior Tour 2018 – will begin at the Silesian golf course, Armada GC. The final of the series is scheduled for 29-31 August and will be hosted by Lisia Polana GC.
This year’s edition will include four one-day and four two-day tournaments and the Masters final. Held at the end of August at the golf course Lisia Polana, Audi Junior Tour Masters will decide the winners in all age categories, who will receive PLN 1,000 to finance their training or buy sports equipment in 2018 as an award from the Polish Golf Union.
As in previous years, the tournaments will be organized by Sławomir Piński, who will take care of northern Poland, and Marek Gaik, who will be responsible for organizing tournaments in the southern part of the country. The three-day final will be organized by the Polish Golf Union in Warsaw.
Parents and legal guardians of the participants will be obliged to submit a parental declaration and a certificate proving a lack of health contraindications of children to participate in Audi Junior Tour 2018 tournaments (download HERE).
Last year, 9 tournaments of the Junior Tour cycle and the final were played, attracting a record number of participants. On average, 100 juniors participated in the tournaments, while the Masters tournament attracted nearly 140 competitors.
Audi Junior Tour Masters 2017 was dominated by Michał Bargenda (Sobienie Królewskie G&CC), a runner-up was Andrzej jr Wierzba (Sobienie Królewskie G&CC), and the third place was taken by Michael Trna (Armada GC). The best golfer among girls was the representative of KG Lisia Polana – Zofia Wójcik.
