USA: Nicole Polivchak in top five of the GNAJI tournament

Nicole Polivchak, Toya G&CC, was ranked fifth after a three-day competition in the USA. It was the best performance among the representatives of Poland during the last tournament of the Global Junior Golf 2017.

This year’s edition of Greg Norman Academy Junior Invitationalattracted almost 70 juniors from all over the world. 18-year old Nicole Polivchak finished the tournament at +10 (77-78-71), improving her last year’s performance by 14 strokes (at the time she was ranked 12th).

The top of the podium belonged to the representative of Columbia, Daniela Gonzalez Pinto, who carded a 219 (+3) and edged out the junior from the RSA – Woo-Ju Son (+6) – and the representative of Sweden – Ingrid Lindblad (+8).

Among 50 juniors (men) taking part in the tournament, Jakub Urbański came in the ex aequo 28th place with the result +16 (77-75-80). Mikołaj Kniaginin failed to finish the tournament. The podium was taken by golfers from the RSA and ex aequo Sweden and Columbia. The leader, Wilco Nienaber,  shot a 2-under-par, triumphing over Viktora Lindgrena and Juana Pablo Quisoboni by 5 strokes.
